Chef Jimmy's Bistro & Spirits ~ Denver International Airport, Concourse A
"When you think about it, there is no way hundreds of tons of steel, fuel, and flesh should propel themselves 30,000 feet over the ground for hours at a time. Don’t tell me about Bernoulli’s Principle. It’s just wrong. For that reason, like all sane people, I try to pack as much alcohol into my system as I can before a flight. Unfortunately, on a recent trip out of Denver, I only had about 10 minutes before my plane left from Gate 40. So I went to Chef Jimmy’s Bistro. I told the hostess, who told the waiter, who brought me a double Jack Daniels in four minutes flat. A second arrived, with the check, two minutes later. Four drinks in, I was able to stagger to my flight to Reagan National and fall fast asleep for takeoff. Huge props to “ Jimmy’s.”"
