Alaska Lodge ~ Seattle - Tacoma International Airport, Concourse C
"Great little bar/restaurant at SEA. Its got an alaska theme going on so lots of log type looking ambiance and other outdoorsy touches. A nice respit amidst the busy and often crowded corridors of this section of airport. Fairly standard issue airportt bar food. I've found it to be hit or miss, but a good selection of beers and decent bar staff make this place worth finding. Plus when you're sitting at the bar you have your back to all the craziness of the airport behind you. Allowing one to truly forget they are in an airport for a few fleeting moments prior to the cattle call. Also, there are bathrooms very close to this place making it somewhat possible to not have to close out every time you need to 'call your stockbroker'. You just have to think outside the box to hold your seat and make sure your belongings are safe and secure. Love me a themed airport bar. Especially one as far out as an alaskan wilderness feel. Great way to prepare for the next few hours cramped in that tin can in the sky. "

Daniels Bistro + Bar ~ Los Angeles International Airport, Tom Bradley International, Arrivals, Before Security
"It's about damn time this airport made some improvements. Flying into LAX is about as exciting as the thought of contracting herpes. yeah, not very exciting.
However, Daniels is a HUGE improvement and a much welcomed new spot to hit up if you are ever unfortunate enough to spend time in this god forsaken dump of an airport. Wherever you are in the airport, if you have time, go to Daniels and save yourself the agony of almost all the other establishments. This place was great: surprisingly good food, very nice service (at LAX this is almost unheard of), and of course, they made my drink the way i like it. 5 stars and a welcome relief for anyone looking to actually enjoy themselves while subjected to LAX.
Thank you Daniels... I knew LAX had it in'em to get something right. Can't wait to see you next time I'm sent this direction. "

One Flew South ~ Atlanta International Airport, Concourse E (Centerpoint)
"Wow. What a pleasant experience. Delicious well thought out menu. From sushi to cool takes on local cuisine. Great space, very comfortable, modern yet well done. And my drink was made exactly how I like it. The bartenders know what they're doing here. That in and of itself is worth its weight in gold. Hats off to this place. "

Deep.Blue ~ John F. Kennedy International Airport, Terminal 5, Center Rotunda
"Best sushi ever. Not just best airport sushi (which sounds funny), but best sushi ever. Hip atmosphere, great service, very good drinks... you can't lose at this place. My friends and I can't say enough good stuff about deep blue, we recommend it to everyone flying out of T5. "
