How often are you in the Pacific NW right? the beauty of this part of the country, besides the landscape and friendly folks, is the copious amounts of very good beer. This place raises the beer bar to a whole new level. One of my biggest complaints with airport bars is the lack of true micro brewed good beer. Coors and Budweiser can get real old real fast. But the options at Rogue are ALL incredible and will definitely do you right before jumping on the plane. 5 stars for being awesome and priming my liver with NW fermented deliciousness.

It was 8am and I could hardly see straight (I'm not a morning person). Stumbling towards my gate in the D concourse, my eye was caught by the luminous beacon in the distance that was the Rogue Brewery Pub. Dragging along my unsuspecting companion, I felt immediate rejuvenation with simple expectation of what was to come. Saddling up to the bar, the resident wench inquired to my libation preference. "Bloody, Stat."
"Double for $3 extra?"
"Pope shit in the woods?"
And it was on. Good bloody. Appropriate ratios of horseradish to worcestershire sauce. My only discontent was fuel by my disdain for the garnish that included 3 devil fruit, aka, olives.
As I sipped away, I found myself reading of the new seasonal offerings from Rogue. Be it now 8:30am, I felt comfortable ordering up a few brewskies. Double Dead Guy was the one for me. I have grown fond of the original over the years and thought double the Dead, double the fun, so let's roll the dice. I shit you not when I say this was the best damn beer I ever had at an airport. I ordered a pint and the wench told me "no". They only served this badboy in 10oz glasses as it packs a 9.8% punch.
"I'll take 3".
