Le Grand Comptoir
1 review
Le Grand Comptoir is an authentic French brasserie, with over 80 styles of wine available by the glass, it is truly unlike any other airport wine bar.
Fresh, upscale and contemporary, its rich wood finishes are balanced by vibrant green hues, stonework accents, posh leather stools and a long, elegant brass bar dressed with modern pendant lighting. Its bistro-inspired fare includes signature crab bakes and tempting strawberry crepes, transforming a layover from tedious to delicious.
Le Grand Comptoir also offers a premium bar, selection of handcrafted beers, and range of specialty coffees.

User Reviews
When I first realized that I'd be flying through Houston I was not thrilled about it. Texas doesn't excite me much to say the least; However, as I was strolling from one gate to the next I saw this little wine bar and damn near fell over. I almost asked somebody to pinch me as I couldn't believe what I was seeing in Texas of all places. Once I found my gate, I quickly returned to the wine bar. This place is incredible. Talk about a nice way to spend a layover. The food is fantastic and pairs very well with the wine offerings. And if you're not a big wine fan, they have a full bar and lots of beers... it's a great atmosphere, and definitely worthy of your layover dollars. Go out of your way to find this place.
